The Greene family is your everyday dual income family of 5. They were always on top of their finances, until Mrs. Greene’s place of employment was forced to close due to COVID-19.  Luckily, she was able to secure a new job after a few weeks of searching and interviewing. That gap in their income, Unfortunately, caused the family to fall behind on rent. Their Economic Impact Payment was quickly used it to pay bills and groceries. Rappahannock United Way, through the ALICE Assistance Fund, has paid their rent in full for two months. Mr. and Mrs. Greene are confident that going forward they will become financially stable again.
