ALICE Financial Assistance
Rappahannock United Way's ALICE Assistance exists to support local households during a time of financial hardship. One-time financial assistance is available for housing, transportation and childcare costs to help keep individuals maintain employment and / or studying.
If you meet the following criteria you can apply for ALICE Assistance:
- Live in City of Fredericksburg or Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania or Stafford
- Currently employed or experiencing a recent break / reduction in employment
- Financially impacted by a one-time life event such as job loss, serious health diagnosis, divorce, etc.
- Not eligible for other local assistance due to income exceeding eligibility criteria
