Begin your journey to a brighter financial future.

Prosper Students is Rappahannock United Way’s financial education program for middle and high school students.

Our goal is to educate students beyond the classroom and prepare them for adulthood through financial literacy and job readiness skills, along with an opportunity for eligible high school seniors to win an education scholarship. Through interactive workshops, Prosper Students will gain hands-on experience building tailored resumes and learning how to effectively communicate in an interview.

We walk our students through the steps of creating a budget and help students identify ways to establish credit and avoid building debt. Students will also learn useful independent living skills, avenues of education, and ways to incorporate healthy practices into daily living.
