Becoming a United Way Tax Volunteer requires no prior knowledge or experience.
We have different roles available to match a variety of skills and interests.
Getting involved is easy – follow our steps below:
Attend a training workshop – IRS-certified tax instructors will provide IRS training.

Are you interested in volunteering in 2024 for Prosper Tax Services? This Meet & Greet event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the different opportunities to get involved, find out more about how to get trained, see a real life Tax Site set up, and meet other volunteer
Meet our Tax Team and mingle with new and returning volunteers as we step into Tax Season 2022-2023. You will have the opportunity to confirm certifications, pick up your tax volunteer t-shirt and name badge, and sign up for sites. Refreshments will be served.

Trained Volunteers: Join our 2019 Tax Preparation Team for a Mock Tax Site on January 17th or January 22nd. Pick up your ID badge and tee shirt and see how a tax site functions.
