ALICE Assistance Fund: Transportation

Your donation to the ALICE Assistance Fund will be combined with others to provide one-time financial help to working individuals facing a transportation-related crisis that could result in job loss. By helping people stay on the road, we help them stay employed, earning, and stable.


ALICE Assistance: Child Care

Your $50 donation to the ALICE Assistance Fund will help a working family facing a temporary child care need. When child care falls through, employed individuals are often forced to reduce their hours and that can have a tremendous impact on their earnings. Your gift will help keep people employed and financially stable by supporting child care needs.


ALICE Assistance: Housing

Your $100 gift to the ALICE Assistance Fund will truly allow you to Be There for a local family - much like yours - in need.  When an unexpected crisis arises and savings are depleted, ALICE families face hard choices about which bills to pay.  Help from the ALICE fund can be the difference between paying the rent or losing your home.


for Preschoolers

New, age-appropriate books for four- and five-year-old students are critical to ensuring local children are ready for kindergarten and reading at grade level by third grade. Your gift of $25 helps local students reach these important reading milestones.  When you choose the gift of reading, you choose life-long learning and educational success.


Backpack & School Supplies

Students who are ready for school each day are ready to learn, yet many students arrive at school each day without the tools they need. Your gift of $25 can help ensure that children have the resources they need to be productive learners!


Mission: Independence Scholarship

Mission: Independence boot camp helps local young people learn life skills to become successful adults - budgeting,  job readiness, personal branding, moving out, rights and responsibilities. Your gift of $100 will cover the cost for a student to participate and prepare for the 'real world'.


A Ride to

An empty gas tank can keep a person from working, pushing them farther away from financial independence.  Your gift of $25 helps provide gas cards and bus passes to help people get to and from work, helping them to keep the job that supports their family.



Sometimes working one, two or more jobs isn't enough to make ends meet or prepare for emergencies.  Your gift of $50 can provide a full financial checkup and planning session for individuals and families working hard to stay afloat - and get ahead!


Emergency Car Repair

A simple car repair can derail the budget of most families, but for those living on the edge it can be devastating.  Your gift of $100 can support emergency financial needs like car repair, keeping families on the road to financial stability.


School Nurse

Local students often turn to school nurses for help with vital supplies for life’s unexpected accidents.  Your gift of $25 helps us provide items such as clean underwear, first aid kit supplies and feminine hygiene products, to help young people in need stay happy and healthy in school.



Diapers and

Anyone who has cared for an infant knows that diapers and wipes can be tremendously expensive!  Help a family manage the cost of those early years with your $50 donation.



Meal Kits for

Many hard working individuals and families in our local community don’t know where their next meal is coming from.  Your gift of $100 helps us create pantry-building meal kits to stock  healthy kitchens for local households.  Meal kits can include everything needed to cook a healthy meal – recipes, ingredients, pots and utensils.
