We are pleased to announce that Rappahannock United Way is kicking off our next Prosper Mentoring cohort on July 17th!
Prosper Mentoring is a new United Way initiative designed to help women reach a higher level of economic stability. Over the course of 12 months, Prosper Mentoring will address all areas of your life holistically (family life, health, finance, education and career), and provide practical strategies for achieving your personal and professional goals.

- This is a 12-month-long program
- There is no financial cost to participate in Prosper Mentoring.
- Classes are once a month for 6 months from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Dinner will be provided)
- Class topics include budgeting, credit reports/scores, Debt management, Employment/Careers, Mental Health/Selfcare, Taxes, Housing Decisions, and more
- Monthly 1-on-1 virtual meet-ups with your Mentor will take place for 12 months during the program
- Upon graduating, you will have the knowledge and skills to achieve financial stability and achieve your life goals!
Class Eligibility Criteria:
- Identify as a woman
- Live/Work in City of Fredericksburg, counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford
- Are between the ages of 21 – 64 years
- Are employed
- Have a household income at or below 80% AMI (CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS)
- Are stably housed
- Are motivated to participate and embrace change
