Rappahannock United Way currently funds programs at Catholic Charities that enable parents of children ages birth to 5 years old to develop positive behaviors that help their children achieve developmental milestones. This Program helps children enter kindergarten ready to learn and achieve. Long term, this helps more people in our community emerge from poverty and achieve greater financial stability.

Rappahannock United Way currently funds several programs at agencies such as Catholic Charities and Healthy Families Rappahannock Area that enable at-risk parents and young children to receive training, assessments and counseling to develop positive behaviors necessary to achieve developmental milestones. 245 local people will benefit from these types of Rappahannock United Way funded programs this year.
