HUNDREDS of local agencies, schools and groups have already joined and are busy sharing information and resources online. This is a local listserv - specifically for the City of Fredericksburg and counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford.

Purpose
Rappahannock United Way Info Share Listserv is an opportunity for local non profit agencies, schools, groups and individuals to ask questions and share information related to local non profit issues.

Proper Use
This listserv is an arena to share information and questions about non profit events, fundraisers, volunteers, donations and best practices. Posts might include promoting an event, asking for help with an issue, a search for information and resources, discussion of local concerns, sharing your own best practices with others who may benefit. We hope you will participate in any way that you are comfortable - actively posting and sharing information or quietly gleaning information from others. We hope this listserv will prove to be an effective and immediate way to connect to the local non profit community.

Improper Use
Please remember that all postings to the list are monitored. The Moderator of Rappahannock United Way's listserv will contact privately anyone posting inappropriate messages. Anyone who refuses to adhere to list guidelines can be removed from the listserv.

Inappropriate messages include:
* Postings that are denigrating to any group of people (e.g. racial, religious, professional, geographical, national, etc.);
* Remarks that are inflammatory, rude, grossly inappropriate, or defamatory
* Personal attacks against members who have posted to the list
* Anything that should have been sent to an individual rather than the list
