At the heart of every necessary and worthy endeavor there is a leadership group that gives the organization its strength, character, purpose and longevity.
Rappahannock United Way's Leadership Giving Circle recognizes a distinguished group of leaders. It provides an opportunity for top United Way donors to shine through their generous gifts.

Membership is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000 annually to Rappahannock United Way.
Sweet Ride
As individuals struggle to readjust their priorities and accept the new found reality of our economy, one can’t help but to be reminded of the “good old days” of the 50’s and 60’s; when fast cars were all the rage and a meal wouldn’t be complete without a bottle of soda pop.
This nostalgia was reignited in the hearts of our most generous donors May 20th, as United Way honored their gifts during our third annual Leadership Giving Circle Recognition Reception, fondly referred to as “Sweet Ride”.
The old fashioned bash was nothing short of a hit, with over 150 of Fredericksburg’s coolest guys and gals in attendance. The Classic Car Center provided an awe inspiring venue, featuring countless rows of classic cars from eras past. But no sock hop would be complete without some fantastic grub, which included gourmet hotdogs, sliders and an old fashioned ice-cream bar.

BubbleQ
In recognition of our 2007 Leadership Giving Circle we held a fully sponsered cocktail party known as BubbleQ, featuring a pairing of wine, champagne, and grilled Horsd’Oeuvres in May 2008. With over 120 attendees, the evening was an absolute hit.
