Make a Difference Day - October 27, 2007
Celebrated every year in October, this has become the nation’s largest day of volunteering for all ages. Every year hundreds of youth and adult volunteers complete river and road side clean up projects to improve the appearance of our community.
Month of Youth Service - April 2008
April sees the Month of Youth Service Campaign, which includes events such as Glories Happy Hats Project, local river clean ups and rebuilding projects. Every year hundreds of local youth volunteers contribute more than 13,500 hours of service during this month long campaign.
National Volunteer Week - April, 2008
Inspire by Example - this national week recognizes and celebrates the efforts of volunteers at the local, state and national levels - be inspired!
